The race for consolidation of the US feed industry is about to be further heated with Ridley Corp the Australian feed and beef producers annoucement of their intention to sell off their US feed company. The company was formed via several acquistions which led to a leading position in Mankato, Minnesota, Winnipeg and Manitoba. As yet no offers have been received but the company will surely attract interest from several corners including Viterra, Cargill and Nutreco.
