Emma Cowan

Experienced Global Agribusiness Consultant, Emma has spent the last 25 years working in various aspects of agribusiness.
Her specialist regions are East Africa where she was permanently based for 5 years up until 2014 supporting private equity and donor investors. Prior to forming Cardy-Brown & Co in 2007, Emma held senior positions with Monsanto (Seminis), Syngenta and Rabobank. Emma’s practical agricultural skills were obtained during her early career working on the family beef operation in Mato Grosso, Brazil. She holds a BSc honours degree in animal husbandry and an MBA from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester.
