Working closely with professional vegetable producers in the East Africa region and out-grower associations to develop business and high quality vegetable production in the region for the European and East African markets. Her recent consultancy projects have included market research and business development in East Africa for one of the leading seed potato exporting companies HZPC in the Netherlands (www.hzpc.nl). Also a horticultural sector study over the period 1995 – 2010 in Uganda; (for the Madhvani Group of Companies, Kajjansi Roses Ltd).
Prior to her to Cycas Anya held several senior management positions with Van Zanten, a major International flower breeder. Anja holds a BSc in agriculture and an MSc from Wageningen University.
